CBT is effective for the treatment of variety of problems including mood, anxiety, personality, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, Post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, and psychotic disorders. Therapy is sometimes manualized, with specific technique-driven brief, direct, and time-limited treatment along with counseling & is used in individual/couple/group therapy.
